White Out

Recently, one of the crafty groups I belong to on Facebook had a challenge issued by the talented Michelle . White out. All white. As you get to know me, you will see that I am all about the mess I make when creating. Inked edges, sprays, paints, whatever goes. If my hands aren’t messy, I’m not happy. I didn’t think I could do it.

Gathered up white items I could use, couldn’t even think of a photo!  I thought about the obvious white choices, like snow, and my granny (her name is Blanche). Came up with nothing. I flipped through my photo boxes, Bella’s Ultrasound photo. She is 6, I have been scrapping longer than that, and haven’t really worked on her baby album. Everything about the layout started to fall into place.

I don’t glue anything until I am sure I am happy with it, taking a photo on my phone really helps when it comes to reassembling with a lot of elements. When all was glued, I was happy with it. I was really pleased that I could make an all-white page. Just to be safe, I looked at my gesso covered hands. Yep, I was happy all around.

Enjoy!
