Back on track, to Sunshine...

Hey All,
I know I have been M.I.A. with the exception of my DT posts for www.catherineandcathycreate.com, and thank goodness for them!
Without that kick in my pants I would have been completely out of the blogging realm.

I'm working on being a better housewife, mom, and person.
A complete 'gutting out' of every room is required I think.
More sleep has also been in the trial phase, but how anyone gets anything done with 8 hours sleep I'll never know!
I do my best work late nights. In front of the t.v., seriously.

This page started without a specific photo, but the idea for a photo that captured my message.
I'm also trying to accept that each project I do doesn't have to be rushed.
When I start something, I can't wait to finish it.
I want to accept that it's okay not to complete a project an hour.
Quality over quantity.

This layout took me a week.

FOR-EEVV-ER!

I added little things here and there, let the paste air-dry (F.Y.I. that rarely happens in my world, hardly used words in my vocabulary), assembled the papers in a way I liked, then let it sit again.
Kiddos were playing this week, and I knew that it was time for my photo.
The rest is history.

Enjoy!

Jan 14: Tags Challenge: Arrows  CCC021

Arrows.

Well I had a plan to use the leftover negative strips from an older Paper Pumpkin kit.
I left them out, waiting for the perfect project to fall in my lap.
Which I knew I could count on CCC to give it to me.
Here it is the arrow challenge!

It's no secret I LOVE my coffee. This stamp set really sums me up.

Don’t forget their other two challenges for this month,
both due January 31, 2014:

Monthly Challenge:  Doodle-ista

Cards Challenge: Birthday Bo-nan-za!

There’s a prize and bragging rights!

Enjoy!

Jan 4: Monthly Challenge: Doodle-ista CCC019

Jan 4: Monthly Challenge: Doodle-ista CCC019

Happy New Year!
This month’s doodle-ista challenge really was a challenge for me.
I know, I know, it seemed so easy a concept, but I was stumped.

I am not always satisfied with what happens when I start to doodle on my projects.
That's okay.
The joy comes from creating, not from slaving over and striving for perfection.
There is a freedom in just letting the pen flow.
Hope you enjoy my card this month!

Don’t forget to create your own doodles and link up at www.catherineandcathycreate.com for your chance to win bragging rights and a prize!

Enjoy!
